Festivals de Scandinavie

Pour découvrir la musique scandinave, au delà de la seule musique norvégienne, rien de mieux que le site All Scandinavian pour répérer tous les groupes émergents, et dans tous les styles. Récémment, il y a eu une présentation des festivals de musique estivaux, dont je vous livre la partie norvégienne : 

 

by:Larm – February 17-19
The Norwegian equivalent to SPOT, SxSW etc, by:Larm offer three days of music, seminars and more in downtown Oslo. No camping.

Norwegian Wood – June 9-13
Named after The Beatles song this small festival in Oslo books a few heavy international acts while also having part of the program dedicated to new Norwegian rock. This year they celebrate their 20. anniversary with an extra day of music.

Hove Festival – June 28-July 1
Norway’s biggest rock festival and one of the many Scandinavian festivals sporting an environmentally friendly profile. Declared bankrupt in December 2008 but saved by British festival-promotions company Festival Republic a month later, and this year going down for the fifth time.
International acts: 30 Seconds To Mars, Linkin Park, Anna Calvi, The Vaccines etc
Scandinavian acts: Jesse Jones, Honningbarna, Robyn, John Olav Nilsen & Gjengen etc

As the name implies a festival dedicated to rock in tis harder incarnations.

Slottsfjell Festival – July 14-16
Located in downtown Tønsberg this year Slottsfjell Festival celebrates nine years of live music in Norway’s most spectacular festival arena.
